Selected Research Area: Cellular Organization & Trafficking

The subcellular location and dynamic movement of proteins, nucleic acids, organelles, and other biomolecules is a critical point of regulation for most cellular events. Members of the department are using diverse approaches to uncover the mechanisms cells employ to achieve spatial organization and trafficking of molecules, and to discern how alterations in cellular organization are implicated in disease.
